I have just replaced a faulty gfx card, now it works but since I have put it in my windows takes an absolutely eternity to load up. Not in BIOS, but after the user select screen and when explorer.exe kicks in.
Any helpful suggestions would be great.
Click Start - Run then type msconfig into the "open" window. when the system configuration utility window comes up, click on the startup tab. untick everything except your antivirus. Should load a lot quicker.
try also uninstalling the crap that u never use

Have you uninstalled the old graphics card drivers? Were you swapping from ATI to NVidia or visa versa?
