Me and hubby have been invited by a polish couple to a tradional polish dinner at their house next week,

We are looking forward to it but would like to know what to expect food wise and also if there are any customs we should know about, like shpuld we take a small gift or offer to bring the dessert.

We don't really know this couple very well and don't want to appear stupid or do something to offend them.

Any tips or hints would be appreciated,
