Did anyone see Frost interviewing Bush?

Beforehand among the things I expected were pre-arranged questions (as usual), sycophancy at it's utmost and Bush suffering an interview as tough as being savaged by a dead pretzel.

I wasn't surprised how accurate the above turned out to be.

Frost let him get away with so much nonsense that it wasn't even an interview, but much more of a political speech suitably designed for the dimmest of American voters. Is it not time that Frost was put out to pasture in the home for old interviewers?

I lost count of the number of times he let Bush off the hook.

During the interview, Bush insisted that Blair continually told the truth ..... once again proving that he is far more stupid than almost everyone on this forum and, beyond any possible doubt, supporting his lack of suitability to be President of the United States.

I will admit to watching a few seconds of the interview...which was all I could stomach of Bush's hypocrisy.

In the past Bush has treated us to such soundbite gems as Saddam Hussein is...a violent man...has killed his own people...and has WMD, almost oblivious to the fact Bush does the same.

As for Frost, didn't he play a similar game when the Tory party were still in power? He'd give Tory politicians an easy interview while grilling Labour MPs; often to such an extent that he wouldn't even let them finish their question!

I'm sure it's purely coincidence that he was rewarded with his Knighthood a little later

I think Frost should move to Sky News. He can then be as sychophantic as he likes, but without bothering the rest of us :D
