I'm looking for business owners or employees in the right position, who can take on volunteers?
I'm running a course in confidence building and I'd like to provide my learners with opportunities to get out there and use their new skills in a work place or suitable environment.
Most of my learners are looking for work in the long term but would benefit from volunteer work in the short term.
My learners are between 20 and 60, male and female and very pleasant. Between them they have a wide variety of skills and abilities.
If you have volunteer opportunities available, from April onward or at times which don't clash with classes, I'd be very pleased to hear from you.
I plan to hand out an information sheet at the end of the course with contact details of prospective volunteer positions, employment positions and other useful information to enable them to progress. An idea of the opportunity offered, the minimum or maximum commitment required and other information deemed necessary, would be lovely.
