Does anyone remember Felix who was a well known character around the pubs on london road/abbeydale road 70s/80s.

Yes retep thats the man. Also known as "buy us a pint". But he was a right laugh. He sadly died some years ago.

I used to work with Felix, very comical fella, used to have us in stiches, didn't know he had died.
Payed for many of his (buy us a pint's) money well spent.

Yes mate i heard he once drove buses. Somtimes he would sing in the pubs especialy in the royal abbeydale road. Im afraid the drinking got the better of him.I dont think there will ever be another Felix.

used to see him in the mid seventies on london road / heeley, he was a mate of jake wilson that did the murder in heeley,very quick with the one liners if i remember rightly

Yes mate i also know Jake. The murder was on parkhill at a flat.
