Just can't stand it anymore!! The golf is like a bloody oven! Anyway had a word with the father in law and he told me it shouldn't be hard to find the parts at a scrappy..
True?

If so how much for the whole air con parts?

Would it be easy to find them, would quite a few scrappies have them in??

Must admit aircon was fantastic today:) but...it saps the power of the car and the petrol just disapears:(
but it was a great "pose" driving around with the windows shut, got some funny looks though.

Cue a whole series of posts and threads while 'Sony' asks for specific details of which A/C units will fit his car, where scrapyards are to find the bits, which forum members may wish to go and help him in the scrapyard, which forum members may wish to fit them for him and which garages to go to in order to fix them!!!!!

Sony, Just joking in the sweetest sense. Good luck!

To be honest, had the car 6 months and apart from the initial "play" with the new toys i havn't used the air con until today.
i wouldn't bother with it if i was you,it's a good novelty but it soon wears off.

My windows tend to steam up if air con is not on, even if the normal fan without air con is on. It's good to go and sit in the car when you can't get cool anywhere else, however if i'm driving and it's hot like today, I usually just put the top down.
