I love a party too.but i be 30 next year in july.can i just join in too to see what i've got comming to me in the next 10 years when i do get to 40,then i will be ready if any shocks that are to come to me :D.

As I posted originally I just came up with it as a laugh, but interestingly it's looking promising.

As it progresses & more people are added maybe someone higher up the food chain than myself will hit on a venue /theme that will suit a ragged band of 40 year olds :hihi: I like the school disco idea though at the moment.

We could maybe start the day off with a coach trip to the Speedwell /Blue John Mine & take a tray of soggy egg & cress sarnies - like we were forced to do as kids!

We have exactly a year to sort it though :thumbsup:

Yup, too I'll be 40 on 27 Feb 2006*. Got some school chums I'm trying to convince to join SF so who knows. If the party is on midsummer's day it might be nice to organise plan A outside then back it up with plan B inside given the fantastic weather we get in this country.

Funnily enough I was going to arrange a picnic in Hyde Park (London) for that very day for London/Paris chums to celebrate the fourtyness.
