Hi I am moving to sheffield soon and would appreciate any help in buying a house. I have not lived in Sheffield before. My budget is around 250,000 and want a four bed detached house. Several available in wadsley park village. Think a good area to buy?

obviously not everyones cup of tea,else why would so many houses be up for sale so soon.Have been onto the estate to visit but i wouldnt like to live there.

Dont read too much into that - lots of people buy new houses then make an absolute killing once the estate takes off. Simple investment.

My old boss once bought the first and last houses on a new development. By the time the last house was built the first had gone up in value so much he was able to buy the last house for free from the profits!
