I am not tech minded, so would be grateful from advice from someone who would be able to explain the reason why our neighbour's (semi detached ) postcode check shows them as having cable to access Virgin, and we dont.

We applied when we moved in, then were told the cable did not reach as far as us, and there was no chance of extending in the near future.

The real question is, if there is a box ouside neigbours house (where cable obviously finishes) is there no way we could share this facility???

can you get cable to the box by digging trench thenasking virgin to couple up i had to get my cable over roof because they dont go on roofs then they came out and connected

Not sure about the trench, even Virgin said that was not an option to reach box. Was hoping to get cable over another way.

Could try the roof, maybe in spring when we get chimney pointed. will contact Virgin again and put it to them.
