Just become the owner of a brand full set of Taylormade golf clubs (complete with carry bag etc).
I've never heard of that brand and was hoping for some Callaway clubs... but would you say this brand could be on a par ;) with Callaway or not?
Just curious before I decide to swap em!
They are amongst the best golf clubs you can buy, provided you know how to use them ;)
As an ex 2 handicap golfer, i totally agree with the above poster, Taylor Made are an excellent brand of clubs right up there with the best like Callaway, Titleist, Cobra ect, but they are only as good as the person swinging the club.

Oh I'm not very good... but I have a full set anyway :D
I'll look forward to some bemused faces on the course when I'm topping the golfball with my top of the range clubs

TaylorMade are reet good ;)
I know that to replace my cheap set/bag/trolley I'd consider TaylorMade.
If you're a beginner/rubbish, a half set is ample :)
1/3/5/7/9/SW+putter.
They are held in especially high regard for their woods and 'rescue' clubs
I think their 'R' series of drivers has been No1 on US and Euro tours for a few years now.
Used to have a mate who worked for 'em in the US. Got some sweet deals from him until he left for some poxy job in a Finance company.

Buying golf clubs can be an expensive business and from your post it kinda suggests you had no input into buying them?
If you want to take up the sport seriously (and no matter what your skill level), you should really visit a pro-shop/golf club specialist and let them help you chose a set that suits you.
No need to swap the Taylor Made's based on brand quality, as has been posted already, but if you've ended up with a set of forged blades and your playing off 15+ handicap then they ain't gonna help your game (forged blades are an unforgiving club, rewarding well hit shots but accentuating poorly hit shots).
In a few weeks watch the for sale thread in the forum, they will go the same way as the mountain bike :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:
They are a lovely set of clubs -
Dont worry about the gear too much as you could get doen to a decent handicap with any clubs!
We have a saying for all the idiots at our golf club:
All the gear - no idea!
Have fun - where do you play

I'm probably one of those with all the gear and no idea at the mo.
I dont intend to go pro ever, just a laugh would be cool.
I'll prolly just end up playing my local course which is Beauchief
