Police in Sheffield are warning the public to be wary of a bogus salesman, who conned an elderly disabled man out of £180 at his home in Sheffield.
The incident took place earlier this year and officers are now hunting for a male suspected of deception.
The elderly resident was at his Upperthorpe home at around 5pm on 12 April 2005, when he was visited by a man posing as a curtain salesman. The bogus salesman entered the man's home and showed him a colour chart. He had no samples or products with him, but stated that he also had CDs and DVDs for sale.
