What has happened to the south yorkshire traffic cops?? I recently tuned into the latest series of traffic cops only to find it was cheshire police. What a total disappointment, Cheshire traffic cops have no humour and dont seem very interesting. Bring back south yorkshire traffic cops.

i agree, they have changed and are not as funny. it works its way around the groups in Britain. it used to be the scottsih guys who were on before south yorkshire!

To compare SY and Cheshire id say South Yorkshire funniest and most comical, esspecially that traffic cop always seen cruising around Sheffield and the Manor and who had to go and sort out a goat. Top man!!!

I must admit, I do try to have a glance at who's driving now when I see a Traffic car :P

jofroberts 03-09-2009, 14:00 I am from Stockport and am so jealous that you have Sergeant Tim Scothern patrolling your streets - he looks after Sheffields crime on his own!!! When there is a dangerous chase with armed robbers, Tim Scothern goes alone - he deserves a knighthood!!
Here in Stockport, we have PC Andy Torkington on Car Crime UK with Trevor McDonald!! He is ready to take over Scothern, as Britains number 1 Law Enforcer!!! And lets face it Greater Manchester is rougher and more hostile than Sheffield!!!
Who is better?? All we can say is..................... fight!!!

I agree to some extent but I suppose it would never be the same as the one in your area because your familular with the area.
I did :love: PC Mark Davies though from Cheshire - he could stop and search me anytime :hihi: and so could PC Tim Scothern from Sheffield phwoar phwoar and phwoar :hihi::hihi:

funny really as i think it was one of the chiefs of s yorks police who decided to give is new motor a run out at 130 miles an hour plus..
