SteveBlade 28-01-2009, 18:58 We are 4th...... We have been absolutley dire at times but we are 4th! and the fact is we will probably stay up here as we will beat most of the lower teams (as long as we dont play like we did Vs Donny) and some around us simply because every one else is so ****e..
Reading, Wolves and Brum are too good for this league, and if they dont go up this season i will be extremely suprised.. Fortunatley the play offs can be crazy and if we do make them we have every chance of winning.. As long as its not Reading who drop out of the top two..
Imo as long as we dont play like with did against Donny every game, which i dont think is possible (please dont prove me wrong Blades) we will make the play offs.. The last 9 games we have been unbeaten may have mostly been against poor teams, but how many more poor teams have we got left to play?

Rocklegend 28-01-2009, 19:09 I think we will be outside the playoffs by Saturday night.We have played well once since Charlton away-at Wolves.Thats one good performance in 14.We were ok at Watford and second half v Charlton -league-at home.We were very lucky at Swansea but unlucky v Wolves at home which evens it up a bit.It's dire to watch though.I'm not confident at all.

hurstyowl 28-01-2009, 22:44 you have know idea if you will be, swansea are on form, thrashed preston who were on fire, cardiff unbeaten in 12, qpr starting to show their worth, and burnley are on a little blip and should be back on form soon, outsiders are palace but are far to inconsistent and ipswich, but they are the same as palace and havent the squad to be in the premier league

NEKRO138 29-01-2009, 09:48 I think United can make it into the play offs. But I think the team to watch come the play offs will be Swansea who play good football and might just be the team that does it like Hull were last year.
I think we will make the playoffs but were not going any further unless something dramatically changes.
The tactics (if you can call them that) are VERY basic and rely on the opposition having a bad day or making a mistake?

Im sure its not great that blades are playing crap football by the sounds of it , but at the end of the season if you get in the prem are blades fans still going to moan !!

if you'd have been going to the matches then you would see why we are like this- Yes we are 4th but if we carry on playing like this then we will tumple like a stone!!!! there is no point complaigning when we are already outside of the playoffs- id rather let them know now so they can do something about it!!!

we will get in the play offs if we finish between 3rd and 6th. that is not by default.

hurstyowl 29-01-2009, 18:58 i wouldnt say the league is poor, to be in them it would have to be on merit because of how tight the league is. Its not that this league is poor, its just the gap is getting too big between this and the premiership, quite a few championship teams beat premiership opposition in the cups, cant be that poor.

I just think the blades players must be wondering wot there fans want BLOOD!! - yes i here they did have a bad game against Doncaster but again your team is 4th or 5th , and your still in the cup !!
Boo-ing is not going to help Blades play better football , and asking on the radio that Blackwell should be sacked CRAZY:loopy:
