You've got to hand it to these talented rappers haven't you?
Barely 14 years since 'Set Adrift on Memory Bliss', another pile of nobodies, purporting to be rappers (I can see their fists shaking at me in their video already) have raped Spandau Ballet's 1983 classic, True.
These guys can't write their own stuff, typically stealing someone else's work. Take a 1980s number one hit, a bit of 'er, yo, eh' and that's it.
Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. And yet, Gary Kemp is delighted to take the royalties despite the abuse to one of his babies.
Strange world.
well it only uses the music doesnt it, with a rap over the top?
i tend to like these, i remember Cherish was done and that was quite good and this one aint that bad imo
the nelly version isnt actually that bad

So True, funny how it seems - always in time, but never for the right money. Head over heels when it gets to number one, this is the sound of the future.

A couple of years ago didnt Gary Kemp sue someone for sampling one of his songs... cant remember what it was, but he wasnt impressed, aparently they had used it without permission, released it then when he found out claimed that it was their song when blatently it wasnt.
