Going to Malta on Tuseday for a week, we like Malta, a lot to see and loads of places to go. We went to Benalmadena in March not to keen on there.

Last few holidays have been all mainland spain and the balearic islands, so looking for good recommendations.

went to ibiza in may had a great time thing of going back there in october , either there or cuba:)

Fly to paphos on the 11th july for a week then im off on a narrowboat in the midlands for a week in mid august :D :D

Sunny skegvegas next month for a week with the missus and her mam cooped up in a 6 birth caravan.

Well, that's funny because Myself, Msbehavin, and Joyphil live amost on top of each other, our houses are in a little triangle, and we only found out much later that we were so close.

I'm off to Ireland in a couple of weeks for a long weekend. I have family over there and one of my cousins is getting married so I shall be getting highly involved with Guinness!!

I'm off to Aiya Napa for 2 weeks at the beginning of July, not been before but can't wait.

Off to the SE of England in July, maybe pop over to France whilst we're down there.

Then off to Prague in October. :clap:

Goin to ingoldmels with the kids in july..Then im off to turkey (marmaris) with mates for 2 weeks in august and can not wait.

Off to corfu, late summer. First Mediterranean holiday since 1976!

been to new york already, and am going for a weekend in london in a month then travelling from there to france, a village just south of paris for 5 days.
also going away in august but dont know where yet. toss up between central france and scotland for a week

Actually a positive effect. Her steps are always whitewashed and her garden is a picture, and she always has a cheery hello to anybody passing by from behind her wall where she always wears her floral pinny and there is always a smell of baking..

I just wish she would stop coming around complaining about the noise of my massive hammond organ all the time. I like to bang out "mr sandman" all night in the nude, and the last thing I need is neighbours banging away on my door in the evening before 1 am..

Had a little one and moved home so not this year!

We're planning to jet off in early September but we haven't booked anywhere yet. I really love Rome but we went there last summer and I don't think my partner's keen on doing that again. She is into the idea of Boston which I could cope with given that it's mainly shopping and eating lobster. NYC is also a possibility.

Apart from that we're going away with 6 other friends (some couples, some singles) to a luxury cottage in the Lake District over the August B/H. It'll just be some BBQ-ing, some golf and lots of fine wine.

Recently holiday'd in South Of France whilst Cannes film festival and Monaco grand prix was on. Stayed in a friends wicked villa just outside San Raphael.

Going to Cyprus on 29th for 4 days - to see girlfriends family. Not overly keen on Cyprus but i could do with another break already.

Ibiza or New York in September, possibly even Dubai. Ibiza is my second home where lots of our friends meet up every year so that's the most likely. And before you ask ....... no we don't do the San An foam party thing. It's more about Ibiza town and clubs Space/Pacha. Sorry but most people have a bad impression of Ibiza that's all.

Off to Las Vegas in 6 weeks time, then magaluf at the begining of october, and hopefully I may be able to fit a long weekend somewhere before Xmas.....

We're going over to the Isle of Wight in September.. Should be good, going in a little Cottage literally 2 minutes away from the Beach.

I'm going away in July for a week at Costa Dorada (Salou)... I went last October and got gastroentritus and was poorly for 2 out of the 3 days we were there :( This time, I shall be taking better care of myself, I think I was run down and a prime target for a virus. Ha you won't get me this time!

Just got back from Amsterdam, thought it was quality, was really impressed with it as a city, from what i can remember.

We are off to France for three weeks in July/August.
Driving to the chunnel then taking a couple of days to drive down to the south west of France. Staying in a Gite near Arcachon for a week then a second week in another Gite near Biaritz. Then a slow few days plod back to the chunnel.

My daugher is house sitting and she asked my wife to teach her bf how to cook so he can have the tea ready for her when she gets home from work. He's a student and will be at home all day.

Im off to the Bulldog Bash in early August

Going for a weekend away to london at beginning of July to see REM

Probably will end up heading down to St Ives in Cornwall sometime in August/September as its our second home.

Went to Paphos at the end of April... Booked it 3 days before we flew (oh the joys of a flexible-ish timetable!!). Had a brilliant time.

Leeds Festival on August Bank Holiday, then hopefully abroad again last minute in September!

I never do holidays.....

Barcelona for a week in August, Cambridge Folk Festival (free ticket!), Towersey Folk Festival....that's about it. Normally I'm off to far more festies but I gotta work this summer. Pantaloons!:gag:

I was supposed to be DJ'ing in a bar in San Antonio for the season but it fell through at the last minute......might go over and wind them up for a week or two :D

We're off to Sharm el Sheikh in September. Husband is in to Scuba Diving and i like to snorkel ..Cheap food, good restaurants and clear blue ocean..can't wait.

Just got back from two weeks in Cancun, Mexico. Boy was it a joy to go back to work this week...... NOT.

We are going self catering just outside of Strasbourg at the end of August. Self drive cos I just can't flap those wings........nor do we like the very hot climates. I am looking forward to the wine trail......and the differing cultures of the area that borders France and Germany........and all the different architecture. We usually tow a caravan and stop within the UK.......last year it was the Isle of Wight. We have had many a fantastic holiday within our own beautiful Isle. Our kids have all grown up having an appreciation of the country that they were born in.

Don........I have just read of your disastrous holiday on the IOW. What a shame that you were treated/mis-treated to such bad accomodation. I would certainly make complaints now that you are home. Nobody should have to hand over their hard earned cash and be ripped off like that!
Our time on the IOW last year was totally different to yours. We towed our caravan and had a special deal as well. We spent a week on a spotless caravan site and the whole thing including the ferry cost us something like £100. Having the car with us meant that we could travel the length and breadth of the Isle........so we missed nothing. We also fell lucky weather wise.......given the crap summer that we had last year! Our holiday was wall to wall sunshine. We were actually away for 2 weeks........one week on the IOW and the second week was in Dorset.
Many People knock caravans........but in our opinion it is the way to go for cheap holidays. You are totally self sufficient and not reliant on anybody elses hygiene rules.........or lack of them! Our "van" is literally just a base to eat in and lay your head in. We can go where we want to and if we don't like a place we can move on to somewhere else.
During the last 25 years we have had 16' vans with the full awning sleeping 5 people.........and right now we have a lovely little 2 berth van with a full awning. I am a bit sorry that we will not be using it this year. SO........it is up for sale if anybody is interested. £550.00. Sound as a pound.........and you won't get better.
Mmmmmmm.....sorry, didn't mean to turn this into a sales pitch........but caravan holidays are really good.

I have a week off from Saturday 2nd July.

Thinking of going somewhere in Scandinavia or Scotland, to make the most of the long summer days and see some beautiful scenery without freezing my b*****s off!

I'm off to Bratsk, Siberia, for 3 weeks in July. Can't wait to get away from work.

Already had my main holiday - went to the States with my daughter (first time to the States for me).

Hubby is desperate for a break though so on Saturday we booked a late deal to go on a Nile Cruise. Not what i'd choose but hubby is really looking forward to it and it's his holiday really, so i'll grin and bear it (if anyone has been and has any advice, please PM me)!

Going on a girlie holiday in September, to Turkey (never been there before either)! Looking forward to it, should be a laugh.

Me and some of my other girlie friends are planning a long weekend in Scarborough too - probably in September and that will be a laugh a minute guaranteed. :hihi:

In July will be going home to Australia for 6 weeks. So excited!!

Then it's back to Sheff for another fabulous winter. I must be mad :)
