Very chuckyish indeed.
Not for me thankyou!

To quote the site also:
Stand one in the corner of a room, against a couch, on the porch or anywhere you like and watch the reaction of your guests or just enjoy

I think your guests might think you a little strange for buying one and fooling them like that???

I have a cousin who's a nanny, and she owns one of those bloody things...it gives me the creeps every time I see it.

The first time I saw it she had the thing on her landing and I walked past it in the dark and nearly had an episode!

They are vile! I had a realistic baby doll when I was a child, which frightened an old lady once when she saw it and tried to coo at it. I can only imagine that you might have one of these to play pranks on people with it, such as standing it in the garden at 2am to frighten drunks. Though it could make a possible burglar deterrent if positioned right - I know someone who had a shop window dummy which she used to leave in the front room when she went out so it looked like someone was in! :D

can't make up my mind whether they're very sad or very twisted. Perhaps both...

I'm now going to my happy place... There are some things in life I reckon I'd rather not know about!

One could do some amazing stark photographic imagery using one of these...

Floating face down in the Don, On the floor infront of a dented front bumper...

the mind boggles - what other purpose would they serve?:suspect:

Actually, I can feel a website coming on!
Just showing pictures of one in various challenging & dangerous places - Like on a rocky cliff face, on the wall of Ladybower. Can you still get up Blackpool tower? - stood on the edge at the top.

Even sent by picture messaging - would be safer than happy-slapping but just as "inventive" :P

My nana had one and I never could work out why. She had it in the hallway of her house and I always thought it was just in the way.

No faces :gag: Definitely spooky :loopy:

A bit like the Santa figure I have that you drape around a tree in the garden, so it looks like he's skied into it. That hasn't got a face, either, just a a round of blank, pink material. It gives me the creeps when I'm attaching it to the tree!!

Although I don't have one myself I think they are quite novel. They haven't got faces as they are really s'posed to be stood towards the wall......like they are counting (coming ready or not!) in a game of hide and seek I always think.
I like dolls too...and I'd put money on it that no one else on this thread likes them either!!:)

I neither like nor dislike those faceless toddler-type dolls - but I love lifelike baby dolls - I want one!

Ours has got a face. But it's been a bit battered over the years and it's got a bit squashed! Seems to made of cardboard or something similar. And it has a stocking covering it - looks like a bank robber.....but she's wearing a lovely pink dress and a pretty hat.... yeuch....

Hmmm I dunno, some sort of rumour about a dead child being stuffed and displayed on a windowsill in her parents house..... people came for miles to look at the back of her head.

But then again, one of my more sensible mates told me it was just a doll. She knew the occupants. Good little story when you're 13 though. :o
