In the fridge (not my doing) there are six huge flat mushrooms

Anybody got any ideas as to what I can do to/with them?

chop them into small cubes, fry them over a low heat with plenty of butter and a splash of brandy.

serve on hot toast.

If they are great big mushrooms, then you can fry them in a little bit of garlic and butter for a short while, take out the stalks, fill them with cheese, bacon and spring onion, and grill them. Yum :)

Yep, omlette was going to be my suggestion. Make sure you use lots of cheese.

At the moment they are likely to wind up stuffed with egg/cheese mix and sprinkled with herbs

Not got spring onion or bacon :(

*goes to look in more cupboards*

Try with sardines. Everybody has a tin of sardines.

Egg whisked with honey and whisky mustard, poured into 'shrooms. No room for cheese, so waiting for egg to cook before melting cheese on top

I wonder how this will turn out  or :gag: ?

The grill is in the microwave, so it's supposed to make that noise when it's ready
