If anyone sees a copy of Alan Dart's Alice in Wonderland then I'd be really grateful if you could give me the heads up on it - I've been out bid on ebay and want to make the set as a wedding gift for a friend!

Why is it always the hard to source stuff I want to knit?!

What exactly is the Alice in Wonderland pattern, is it an Animal one or is it human figures? I e-mailed Sirdar about the Wallace and Gromit Patterns, and they were smashing and sent me a photocopy of each one.

Hi littleblue, just been doing my homework and found that they do sell the book on Amazon but they haven't got any in stock, but read on the Laughing hens forum that it was a pattern in Womans Weekly mag. Why don't you try contacting WW, they may be able to help. I'll see if i can find the yarn company that didi it and let you know.

Hi again, by the looks of things they were sirdar patterns, after my experience with them i would highly recommend contacting them and see how you get on.

hi there
I took your advice and emailed sirdar but they said that they do not make wallace and gromit patterns. Wonder if you can shed any light on this. Who exactly did you correspond with at sirdar.
Many thanks
Jo

I've got the Alan Dart wedding cake and bride-and-groom patterns which came free with the knitting mag this month, (knit Today? Simply Knitting?) to give away, if that's any good
