Does anyone know where can get hold of some vegetarian worcestershire sauce please. Used to get it from the health food shop in hillsborough but they are no longer with us and asked at holland and barrat and they didnt know.

Don't veggies just use Henderson's which is certified by the Vegetarian Society on the label?

Worcestershire Sauce contains anchovies, hence it's not vegetarian.

Hendersons is ok but just not the same but you can get veggie worcestershire sauce online. I know it aint normal veggie Alastair thats why I asked bout vegetarian worcestshire sauce

The trouble with Hendersons is the saccharin they put in it!:gag:

We do an organic Vegetarian worcester sauce at Beanies - it doesn't taste quite like the real thing - I suppose that's the result of leaving out the anchovies! It costs £2.20 for a 142ml bottle so it's not cheap but it is here!
