footdoctor 10 #7 Posted February 1, 2009 I thought it was a good night. Well the bands were good.Pistola kicks are not a pistols tribute - they are an original indie band. Service at the bar was very slow and there was no tiolet paper in the ladies which is unforgivable.Have seen a couple of bands at this place now and the service at the bar is terrible and really lets it down. The staff seem to be working hard but there are not enough of them and they don't stick to their own bit of the bar and wander about serving here there and everywhere. If the place goes bust it will be because thy are not getting the beer out quick enough.I would have spent much more money but going to the bar meant missing 3 songs. eastbank 10 #8 Posted February 1, 2009 went to the match first so it only cost us £3 each in a taxi from hillsborough, got in for free because my mate's from boro, but was right about the bar service but its more like a community centre with different functions on all at the same time and it took an age to get served....pistola kicks will be worth seeing again, and the clashed played a terrific set must have done the clash back catalouge,in all great value for money at £7,but the downside was getting home, not nice stuck in stocksbridge freezing our nuts off waiting for a black cab to take 5 of us back to the birley......
