Does anyone have a photo of the Coronation Party in Harold St.The Street like many was decked out in Red Wite and Blue bunting.I and some friends made these from triangles of crepe paper stitched together on an old Singer treddle machine.Mr Harper from the corner shop was dressed as a clown and was handing out those little round ice creams that came with a piece of card round them.I think they were meant to be unpeeled and popped on top of a wafer cone.I dont remember the wafer just the ice cream which was more melted than solid by the time I got mine!

I was not born in 1952 but my grandparents lived on Harold Street until it was demolished. I spent many happy summers there as a youngster
Who were your Grandparents I knew just about everyone in the street. My parents were the last to leave before the houses were knocked down.I lived their until my marriage 1963

I went to school with Gordon Wordsworth who lived on Harold Street.
I remember the Wordswoth's but I think he went to Upperthorpe School.I was one of the few in the street that went to Burgoyne Rd School.
Unfortunately i don't have any.
