Hello wondered if anyone could help me please. My 11 year old daughters hamster recently passed on to hammy heaven and she is now fancying another. I just wondered if anyone knew of any.

I am reluctant to go to a pet shop for one as they are usually not well handled, and often not in the best of health.

Helenasq on here has some babies which she is trying to rehome, send her a message.:)

I'd also reccommed helenasq's babies - she's in a bit of a pickle at the moment after taking in 8 unwanted hamsters from a member on the forum - mum, dad and 6 babies. The OP had apparently sexed the babies, however this was not correct and she has since ended up with another 4 litters!! She is desperatley trying to rehome some of the babies to loving homes as she has got a lot of mouths to feed and feels that they are not all getting the attention they deserve. A few members on the forum have rehomed some and I regularly go and help handle them all etc to keep them tame for potential new homes. They are russian dwarf, winter white hamsters, there are males and females available, the older ones being about 11 weeks now plus younger litters that are also allowed to go to new homes. They really are sweet little things and you can be rest assured with Helen that they have been well cared for. :thumbsup:

Thanks Charlie 10 and nox2693. I have got babies ready for rehoming and would just ask for a small contribution towards the cost of looking after them all.
