I would like to join a cardmaking class in Sheffield. Does anyone know of any for beginners ? Evenings would be better as I work in the day mon-fri.

Theres a fab craft shop just opened in the Barracks at Hillsborough, she does cardmaking and craft classes (weekends too)

I'm will be running a beginners papercrafting class on Thursday 29 January in the S36 area (the venue is near Penistone).

Come along, have fun and learn some basic stamping and punching techniques. The class fee is £15 (payable in advance) and for that you get:

- a 2 hour class (7pm-9pm)
- all materials and supplies (you will make a minimum of 3 cards and a gift box)
- tea/coffee and biscuits
- Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogue (value £4.95)

I was booked up but have had a few ladies switch to having a home demonstration so that they don't need to travel so far and so have some seats free again. If you'd like to book please contact me at sarastamper123@gmail.com and I'll send you the address details.

My sis-in-law and I decided to go to this class tonight for a bit of a change of scenery and we had a great time. We made a new friend plus 3 cards and a gift box which there is no way I'm giving to anyone else!! :P

I'm a beginner, my sis-in-law is a bit more experienced, but we both really enjoyed it. Highly recommended if anyone likes to get stuck into a bit of crafting.

Have you tried the local adult education courses at your local school?? There are quite a few craft courses available through this route and don't cost the earth. Firth Park Community Arts College (attached to Firth Park School) run courses, and could probably put you in touch with places in your area.
