I picked up an old pewter samovar at a garage sale this past weekend and i've listed it on Ebay.I'm hoping someone could help me with any information about it[ie: date made].To see it go to Ebay and look under item# 7330351091.I know the company used a trumpet image in it marks c.1878-so i believe it is earlier than this date.I have several pics and one of the base marks-'34 10,James dixon & Sons,8893'.the auction page title reads"Rare Victorian J.Dixon&Sons Samovar.Typing just "samovar' will also take you to it.Any help will be much appreciated!Regards,Ian.
