If so what's it like I fancy a dabble?

I like it. It's very 80s influenced, nothing particularly groundbreaking, but good, middle of the road synthpop. Personal faves are Paris Is Burning and My Delirium. Although, I must say, of the female vocal electropop genre, I prefer Little Boots, who has just one ep out, but check out her songs here:

Being a fan of Ladyhawke and having seen this thread I bought the album.

It's bloody ACE!

Can't stop playing it over and over.

At first (in the car) i kept skipping to the ones i'd previously heard but it's one of those albums where all the other tracks in between are just as good and all of a sudden they become the faves!

Brill!

Definately a driving album, being playing it a bit now its still getting better I think I made a good purchase.

Unisol, you any suggestion what else is out there worth investigating?

Hmmmm, not really sorry.

My true love is house music (from the many years if clubs, Ibiza etc) but since going out less and less i've found myself listening to allsorts of music - across all genders.

The last album (before Ladyhawke) was The Script! I never saw that coming!

Yep, i'm very eclectic of late.

However, I will return to this thread if i hear of anything good.

The Script! That is a bit of leap I guess mate. I've bought the Portishead album third not listened to that yet, but if the previous 2 are anything to go by it should be class!

Sometimes you need a bit of easy listening lol.

Portishead. Hmmm, i'll check that out - thanks for the tip.

(I must get back into my music)

Wow! That's a bit old school isn't it? Morrissey's new album'll be out soon...but I guess he's like Marmite.:P

Mattenmurg, how dare you compare Morrissey to Marmite - it's horrible, whereas Moz is godlike!

Ha! I meant you either love him (like you and I, ohmyword!) or find him a lugubrious wailer.

Heard the Paris is Burning track on Radio 6 this morning - is it a cover or am I just more mad than usual?

Paris is burning is a re release I believe.

As for Morrisey when is he touring? I've never seen him live but got all his solo albums and all the smiths albums

I thought Paris Is Burning was a re-release too. I first notice her when I saw the video for My Delirium, and then got the album to find a couple of other already slightly familiar songs on there.

As for the mighty Moz, he's touring the UK throughout May. Full details can be found here:

Mattenmurg, I've PM'd you about meeting up.
