You have heard all the going on about whether they will buy kit, not buy sponsors products etc. But will it happen?

Talking about all that boycotting merchandise, its a load of cobblers really.

If they want to have an effect, stop going to the games. An empty stadium two home matches running and he'd be gone. Simple As.

That poll needs some work!

How can 'the fans' stop buying the merchandise when the majority of their fans are merely fashion victims who've never set foot in Old Trafford?

A boycot of the games by those fans would be sooooo effective

[B]Record breaking]/B] sales apparently.

So much for their resolve.

Maybe they've realised that they can't really complain about the purchase.

If I had enough money to buy them I would have done so, and then asset stripped them.

Being a MU fan .. There are things that need saying.
RANT ON:

I have heard rumours that certain 'top reds' are going to try and stop the rest of us fans from going to OT to watch Man Utd play, and apparently they are going to try and stop people entering OT to watch and also they are trying to stop people buying MU mechandise.

You are fooking fools, glazier has won, and he was going to win right from the start, and thats one of the reasons I did not support shareholders united because I saw all this crap coming.

If you dont want to watch MU now, **** off and support someone else. Its these supposed die-hard fans now that are acting like big tits, not the supposed glory-fans that come to OT.

We are in debt, yep thats very true, but I really dont give a flying toss about the business side of things, because a few fans will not be able to change anything- get used to it, Im more on supporting the team through thick and thin, which is what we are supposed to do.

And if malcolm wants to buy us players that can improve the squad- for me I'll pat the old bugger on the back and say thanks.

Bang on mate, bang on!

A little peturbed by your first para (above) though.

Though if they do try and stop people, I'm sure they could be evaded by simply pointing behind them and saying "look over there" such is their mental prowess.

I've been on a couple of MU forums and they are intending to spoil the club for everyone else this season who may want to go and watch them.

The funny thing is about all this- the more people drop out of the club- the more fans we have in reserve to take their place.

Im still waiting for my season ticket and Im just hoping someone drops out so I can get a shift on up the list.

Interesting to see the 'united' front in action.

I suspect that this is at the root of the friction between Liverpool and Manchester.
Me-ism is less popular in the far west

I reckon our so called 'loyal members' are really a complete bunch of tits for trying to get people not to go to OT.

It just aint going to work and it certainly wont stop me going next season- I bet Mr Glazier is absolutely pishing himself over there across the pond!

Does he look like the sort who ever laughs?

I hope this isn't some elaborate plot to bring down the whole of English football :suspect:

"Where's me lucky charms???"

Is there any Man Utd fans who will be supporting the new United of Manchester football club?

They will be starting out at the bottom like AFC Wimbledon and I have read that they are looking for a ground to play from but are already expecting around 3000 fans.

Incidentally I believe AFC Wimbledon have already climbed a couple of divisions since they started from the bottom and have acquired a new ground.

I think there are a few fans who support the idea.. most like me will keep on supporting the main club as its kinda a knee jerk reaction to malcolm glazier having come in.

Malcolm Glazier is on about selling us on after a year so I've heard so you might be right in one way.

from what i think that Glazer wont sell Man U, he didnt go through all that trouble to keep the club for 1 year and sell it again. I believe he has something in mind that will make Man U richer than they are currently and a better team. the club supporters will support the club with or without glazer if they are true fans of the club.

let the season start and you'll see what i mean

You might be right, you never know what the american leprechaun is thinking!! :D

He might bring us a pot of gold from under the rainbow.
Hope so anyway because we could do with it at the moment.

I'll deffo be supporting the team through thick and thin, Im not that bothered what goes on behind the scenes to be honest.

how you have to look at all this in a long term sense is, that he raising everything, ie ticket prices, cost of merchandise.

once all the debts are paid off for him, there will be money flying in to the club :hihi:

of course, it probably will never happen like that
