I have heard there is a milkshake bar is opening in Broomhill, Sheffield soon. Apparently they do over 100 flavours of milkshake made up of your favourite chocolate bar, sweets or biscuits! Sounds Amazing! I just want someone to confirm it is true!
Sounds fantastic. A Jammie Dodger Milkshake would be soooo nice!! Or Galaxy Caramel! I CAN'T WAIT!!
Has anyone else heard anything? I hope its true! x x

There was a short paragraph in the Sheffield Telegraph on friday saying it was opening in an ex-charity shop on Fulwood Road. Can't quite work out where that would be....

deadeyeduck 19-01-2009, 22:45 they have one of these in Brighton called Shakeaways. Actually is quite nice but im not sure whether its suitable to sheffield. Yes it is in a studenty area if true but all the students go home in the summer anyway so there will be less punters during prime milkshake season.

You seem to know a hell of a lot about this place already so why post on here in your first post.
If you are the owner, as I suspect you are , then just say so. You'll get a lot more respect from people on here that way insted of trying to promote it in a sly way.

yes, for 7 years or so. They sold up....many of their pubs are being franchised off as its not a pub 'model' that is successful any more, save for one or two very big sites, like the Cavendish.
Fancy Medusa boycotting the place. Some people have no taste.

Yes the cavendish still seems to be working well ,ever busy. The globe doesn't seem as busy as it once was though.

I like the Globe, I think it is the only Sheffield Scream Pub that ever had a real pub atmosphere to it.....

Yeah it did but recently it just seems dead, they close earlier and you get an evil look if you're not in a camp fallout boy top.
