May sound odd at first but the Sheffield Freerunners are looking fro good roofs and areas with rails to use for Parkour (freerunning)

Some of you may have seen Jump London or Jump Britain on Channel 4 and will know what this is about.

If you happen to know any areas that look good for Parkour then please post the pictures here.

Please Note that we are not looking to get into any trouble so if you are posting pictures of anywhere please give a detailed description of the 'dangers' as well as the location.

If you would prefer to email me pictures then feel free to send them over to srounce@teenageforums.com.

Also, i know there is already a post about this but if anyone wants to take up Freerunning / Parkour then just turn up at the Odeon in town between 11:30 & 12:30 this saturday. Everyone is friendly and we will show you the basics to help get you started.

Man, you are so out of touch with the kids on the street, unlike me :)

Didn't you watch the TV programs ?

The idea is to get from A to B using unconventional methods (ie. not just walking), and unconventional "surfaces", like walls, roofs, sculpture etc. etc preferably without breaking your neck.

I guess the tram bridge would be good, but a bit dangerous, or the pop museum roof, or the "scupture park" thingy next to Spearmint Rhino, or the suspended bridge under the Wicker arches ?

Sheffield must be full of industrial potential for you ?

How about the roof of the stadium at Attercliffe ?

Not that I'm encouraging you to tresspas or anything :)

I'd give it a go but I terrified of heights.
