Hiya , you might want to try these guys at the fone fun shop, they are on handsworth rd at the roundabout ( parkway exit ) opposite side to asda going down to Darnall , you have to phone them first before you go, they are really helpful.

i've had one in that range by the same maker. I was fine even when it was in Spain it worked. The only issue was the heat of Spain, it heated up the touch screen which broke the contact. Now the phone is bricked as the touch screen will not work anymore.
Typical Chinese quality..
The phone looks great though, I'll give them that.
Just a thought.. have you tried changing the network channel from UMTS to GSM 900/1800 in the network settings? Just give it a try and see if it picks up a signal in Sheff.
I've no idea how to do that in your phone but you can in most others with UMTS.

Everytime I search for the service provider in the networks setting of the phone. The only networks and everytime I do it shows;
T-Mobile and Orange - So am thinking if I go on one of those networks [Orange preferbly] the phone will be fine!!!! Am I right thinking that

Probably, but if your phone is set to UMTS and not the standard 900/1800 network, it will be searching only for that. In the network settings, there should be an option somewhere where you can change it for 5 mins to see if it works. It'll probably be set to either UTMS or automatic as default.
Just give the 900/1800 a try for 5 mins to see if you can get a decent signal with the O2 sim.
When you bought the phone, was it advertised as unlocked/Sim Free?

the 900 and 1800 frequencies are what are used in the uk
tmob and orange (and a few others) use 1
voda and 02 (and a few others) use the other
cant remember which way round but as you are receiving the t-mob/orange nets then id say youve either switched something to do with the networks off or a chips fried inside the phone
try finding if theres a factory reset in the menu and do that
