hi is there anybody on here who fixes lcds and knows there stuff. tryed av fourms and just get no replys back which isnt helping me. ive rang lcd repair shops and each place tells me something different or say they want money to come look at it.

1st buzzin noise when them tv has a blackscreen, standby light stops on, when i turn the tv the picture goes off but the sound stops on so i have to keep turning it off and on for a while. Samsung helpline are usless and says its out of warrenty and not there problem

I gotta say I've heard a couple of nasty rumours than Samsung LCD screens (in the context of laptops anyway) have a habit of breaking just out of the years warranty. This is why I bought mine from John Lewis!

Is this a TV, desktop computer, or laptop display?
I assume the fact you first posted on AV Forums that its a TV?
I've been waiting for Samsung themselves to fix a 46" display since mid November, it was due to be returned (working) Monday or Tuesday of last week, still no show.
I know this isn't helping you, but got it off my chest.

wouldnt go near a samsung ever again i paid £1000 14 month ago and now its worth nothing. i dont seem to be getting anywhere with tv repair places they just want to much just to look at it and mite not be able to get the part. how can you not get the parts for a new lcd tv its 14 month old and for samsung trying to help well they wont. what a set of wa****s
