from my other topic u will prob know i am trying to install a second hdd.
after installing a usb2 card the hdd will still not work on my system.
socan anyone have a physical look at it for me or recommend someone.
i have 4 ides , 1 hdd connected through raid card & want to install asecond hdd either directly or via a usb/ide reader.
prob 10 minute job for expert 'cos i'm about 5minutes away from throwing the whole thing at the wall.

Does the motherboard have onboard USB connections?

If yes, have you tried turning it off in the BIOS?

I've tried this option (it doesn't work), neither does kicking/swearing at it:D.

Where abouts are you mate, I can have a gander, unfortunatly I cant travel very far (read as far as the tram/bus) will go.
