If you are wanting to book a table you can usually just turn up - i went last week and there were always a few covers available.

Phone number's 255 1888 - there's a review in the Food & Drink section of the Star today. Looks like it costs £3.50 to smoke the hookah.

Cool, I have officially stopped smoking but hookers don't count.

I think it got four out of five for most things - I don't remember now, and I don't still have the paper so I can't check. I should maybe have included that information in my original reply.. dur!

Fairpoint, I went mid-week.

I had a Persian minty yoghurty drink that would be ace to drink in the heat. Starters varied from tiny to enough for me as a main but were all equally tasty. I had a spicy lamb dish for my main and was too full for a pud... but the waiter kindly gave me a taster of one - it was like a Turkish pastry.

Thought it was reasonably priced and will be venturing back to have a toot!

Don't you mean hookahs? I am sure you can sit on a hooker, but smoking one would be a little difficult.

Very, very old thread, i know.
I was wondering if anyone had any idea if Shiraz will also sell shisha coals, molasses etc.? I can't see why they wouldn't.
The only other place i can find any of this is online which is a hassle at times. Would be great if there was a supplier nearby!
Thanks for any info.

I have no idea if shiraz sell coals and molasses, but a short walk down the road accross the road from the petrol station, is a shop called Reza.

They sell a range of hookah pipes, along with typical asian groceries with a few interesting extras.

I can't be sure for certain, but I swear i've seen packets of coal on the shelves.

They're really friendly people, and usually if they don't have what you want in you can just ask and they'll order it for you.

Costcutter on London Rd sell nahgile/shisha/hookah/bubble pipe/water pipe (depends on the country what you call them!) coals.

As for the baccy (nicotine or non-nic) internet or foreign parts.

Thought for the day ....... would you still call it a water pipe if you did a milk or alcohol mix I wonder?????
