What spec is the computer how old and how much are they asking for?

At a guess I'd say it's worth about £100-£150 . The model would be useful though.

not worth swapping then, as the fone i have is going for 280-£300 on ebay

I'd agree with Dave650 £150 max if you got £300 for you phone would go a long way to a much better PC

For sale packard bell easynote,windows xp,dvd rw all top spec.
I've installed vuse and nero for burning dvds and cds.
It also comes with orinoco card for wifi and comes with carry case aswell.

You won't get a fair swap if I was you I'd sell the phone, pick a decent computer/laptop and buy that.
