they are all crap...

go to a proper italian restaurant, these restaurants are like macdonalds for grown ups...

the food is poor and pricey... went to one in castleford

how can you have a chain of italian restaurants???

The one in leeds was ok. Food edible. Not been to sheff one yet but wouldnt mind trying it. Prezzo was a bit disappointing. I really wanted to like it but the food was just a bit too bland. Maybe it will get better as time goes by.

do you really want some greasy english uni student to stick your 'italian meal' in the microwave, have it done in a proper restaurant

We went in November. It was quite nice, but small portions and quite expensive.

we went there in december food was nice but very pricey for the size of portion, also their desserts are brought in and not made in house, one of my work cooleagues asked if the desserts were from morrisons and the waitress just smiled, read into that what you will ;);););)

Lessen the sting, about 1/2 way down the page, £10 off at Bella Italia.
Thursday 1 to Friday 30 January.

Bella Italia is as Mexican as Chiquito, it's sooo rubbish I wouldn't take my dog there to be fed. There are actual Italian Restaurants in Sheffield. Their prices are ridiculous, their food as authentic as Tesco Extra Value Meals and the menu as varied as TGI's. Move along!

Not such about Bella Italia but I think Prezzo is absolutely fantastic. The pizzas especially are amazing. Really really amazing. I ate there the other day with a friend, we had 2 pizzas a glass of wine and a glass of coke and it was only £20.90!

Try Bella Napoli on Abbeydale Road. Proper authentic italian, all meals cooked fresh from scratch.

Jaynethe precise establishment I was thinking of when I posted above :) That is a restaurant worthy of being called a restaurant.

Bella Italia is just a microwaving dining room.

I haven't had a decent meal at Centretainment. Old Orleans is awful too.

Well we've been to Bella Italia a few times, but we shall not be going again. Last night I tried to book a table for 12 for my daughters birthday for this coming Saturday at 6pm to be told "No we won't take a reservation for 12 as it's a concert night and we'll be busy and you may not turn up"

I shall take my custom elsewhere

I had pizza sorry but it was not very tasty and my oh had pasta which was aslo bland.
to make matters worst the waitress was so rude didn't bring us any drinks. then when i went to get my own had to wait ten minutes. won't be giong there again.
It will either be romantica (london road) or robertos (hillsbrough)

I agree with majority, bella italias portions are kids size got a burger and 12 chips for about £12.00. Rubbish, I love Boardwalk on centertainment, only place I would eat on there again. Anyone been to table table? Arena Square? They are the same, portion sizes have reduced dramatically and prices increased!!!

I can't believe how much Bella Italia has changed - when it used to be Bella Pasta it was much better, bigger portions of something like proper pasta. We went when we visited Chester in the summer and it was a total rip off.

Only thing I liked about it was the the waitress forgot to put through the garlic bread we ordered and never recieved - I saw the one that went to the table near us and it looked horrendous - burnt and greasy :gag:

Bella Italia at Centretainment is terrible value for money. It is clear that the chef is an amateur and has no knowledge of proper italian cuisine. I ordered a pasta and seafood dish, of which the pasta was dry the seafood was anaemic-looking. The Bella Italia in York however is wonderful, and the food is excellent.

I would give this place 3/10.
