 like the song...don't much like the band, but i did like a few songs from Kelly's album. If you really do like them, a singer called Amerie does a passable impression (honk honk honk)

The last time I saw destiny's child they were on at the grapes in about 1994. The were a four/five piece rock band with keyboards, and they were all about 19. I never imagined they would be still together after all this time.

They weren't that ****,
one of them had a dad who was called Pete, who lived in Stocksbridge, a very nice bloke, and he worked hard for them and promoted them.

but they were never the kind of band that anyone out of south yorkshire would ever have heard of..

or ever would likely hear of in the future.

Can I say that I am really surprised that someone has brought them up on the sheffield forum all these years later.

My partner and me went to see them at the Hallam Arena thanx to a radio station competition... (I won tickets)

I couldnt believe the amount of people walking out whilst they were only half way through the performance...

I must admit that all they did was sing... I know thats why you go to concerts... but when went to see Anastasia she got the audience involved... she held a fabulous concert...

Destinys Child just seemed to be out for themselves... song after song after song there was hardly any talking or any attempt to let audience be a part of their performance...

My partner and me also ended walking out just over half way through... the sounding was terrible... it was just noise... i have to give Beyonce credit she has a fantastic voice... I would defo go and see her in concert...

I wasnt at all surprised when i heard they were to split... this news came i think a couple days after we went to see them at Hallam...

Apparently they have a Greatest Hits album called 'Number Ones'.. which is strange because I always thought their music consisted of Number Twos.
