With the bad weather and the lack of people around it was really depressing walking home today.:(

Have to agree. If it wasn't for the students this end of town would go down the pan.

Bit harsh :(

I've had to come home to get ready for my big move up to the north east. Got a placement year at Nissan so i'll be away for a year. Makes me sad :( I really like Sheffield!

Still hopefully when I return, all the cranes have gone and the city will be nice and smart! :)

Ooo and does anyone know good areas to live up in the North East. I've been recommended South Shields and somewhere south of Gateshead. Anyone know anywhere else?

Avoid Hartlepool. They have a nuclear reactor up there, and Peter Mandelson too (I'm not sure which is worse)

Nothing wrong with Hartlepool at all, although I wouldn't live there personally. I'm currently at home in Yarm, mainly because I have a job and friends that I really miss when I'm at uni, and because I've got nowhere to live.

I'm back on the first of July before I'm off with the mrs' to the south of France camping, before back home for a month to pay off some debt. I've got no friends in Sheffield over the summer, and I'm still looking for a job! So home is cheaper!
