Could someone please tell me if and where there is a late postbox in Sheffield that is picked up tonight!

Brightside Lane, just before the roundabout, there is a little turnaround place that you can pull into and the box is there.

12 noon on Remebrance sunday the last post is always played in Barkers Pool...... it always brings a tear to the eye. :confused:

Although it's a while since I last had to use it, I thought the sorting office by the bus/rail station has an hourly collection and possibly 2-hourly on Sundays.

The sorting office by the bus station is no longer there- it's moved to Brightside Lane.

last post in sheffield is just up the road from the boardwalk. I think it's called Castle Street and it's a tiny little office.
Last post , 7.30pm. 6.45pm for special.
We use it all the time.

that said i have posted stuff in that box after then and it got there the next morning - though that was a coupel of years ago , - it had some early time like 1930 or 2000 hrs on at that point
