hello im so up set my eyes need taking out and a good clean because ive been to my disable group at grenoside community center today where we chat and i meet friends once aweek through the social services .today one worker has left 1 other worker in charge of 5 wheel chairs uses an 2 able body [only to get to the toilet] people to go to the fish and chip shop . i told her she was not allowed to go and her answer was well i carnt see the place been on fire can you ,but she dosent know me and how manic depressive i am pluss i smoke and a few months ago i had a realy bad set back and yesterday i was off bad and i could do any thing . but she just got upty and went out of the room and phone the manager and later went to the fish shop,so i go so stressed out i had to call home to be collected from my friends and the only day i get out,as i could not cope with been left alone with just 1 worker 1blind lady in a wheel chair and 3 other wheel chair uses and 2 people on legs .I came home phone social services spoke to a manager who said she had phone for permision to go but there should have been a risk assesment done but was not ,and as i told her the worker in question asked all the girls last wednesday if they would like the chippy so she new she was going .but befor we have asked for things like a tv and got oh no we have to have a risk assement. and i know a risk assesment can take time to organise as my sons an atc and they have to put ther propsals in place weeks in advance so why havent they done this already as shes been to the shop befor .. i have phone every where health and saftey they put me on to commision social inspection and they said it was down to the social services the first ones i phoned who just said i could put in a complaints form [been there done that its in a drawer glued to the bottom never to come out ] so now im left at home with my son stressed out crying deppressed could do any thing WHAT DO YOU THINK :help:
