University of Sheffield do not do the more 'vocational' degrees like media production, but Sheffield Hallam do, here: http://www.shu.ac.uk/

Oops I was wrong, the University of Sheffield does a BA in Journallism studies, which is accredited by the Broadcast Journalism Training Council, whereas the Sheffield Hallam courses are not. Entry requirements are 3 B's at A-Level, or a B and 2 C's for the Hallam course.

If you want to get into presenting, the best advice i can give is to get as much work experience & practice as you can.

Despite their reputation, hospital radio stations remain a great way to start your career. Perhaps try and find out where your nearest is?

If you really want to suceed as a presenter, be ready and willing to work silly hours, and move around a lot for little financial reward. If it still seems like a good idea after that the it might just be for you!

It's not what you'd call a "normal" job...
...just look at nick!

sheffield hallam have a media course, buts its through the Northern Media School for some reason, so you can contact them through sheffield hallam. Other than that its Norton College. The media courses are very hard to get onto tho as they arnt very big classes, and you need relevant media qualification/experience to get onto the hallam course.
