Hello again!

So glad to hear all the lovely feedback from Saturday night`s Party - we`re really pleased that those of you that came really enjoyed it!


Ok – down to business …

I`m currently updating my registers with more performers from any Variety/Cabaret genre with regards performing at “The Velvet Burlesque Vaudeville Cabaret Showcase(s)”.

I`m not particularly looking for a Burlesque dance type act (as we already have more than enough of those, although such performers are still welcome to apply) – I`m after singers, comedy sketch routines, fire-eaters, sword-swallowers, magicians, funny-balloon modelling(!), contortionists, acrobats, etc. etc!
Think Cabaret/Variety, and the more diverse, the better - (within reason, of course!) - but what would also fit in with a Burlesque-Vaudeville/Carnival style Cabaret theme.

If you would be interested in performing, then please could you contact me with your full details with regards possible inclusion into one of our upcoming shows.

I`m also planning/starting a "Beginners Cabaret Showcase" in the next few months, so this will also be an opportunity for those of you who now want to try some sort of solo/duet/group act to have a chance to perform within a safe, friendly atmosphere with an established, professional promoter. (Me!)

Once again, it doesn`t have to be a Burlesque type dance act, but acts such as I detail above, and a performance that would also fit in with a Burlesque-Vaudeville/Carnival style Cabaret theme.
I`m looking for classy, well choreographed acts that fit in well with the above theme, but please be aware that I won`t include anything/everything just for the sake of it - it may be beginners level, but it also has to be a worthy, well thought of, polished piece/act for inclusion.

If you would be interested in performing in the "Velvet Burlesque Beginner`s Cabaret Showcase(s)", then please let me know.

I will need to know a rough idea of the act, and then obviously I`ll need to see it as soon as possible with regards possible inclusion.

THIS IS NOT A COMPETITION! It will run similar to a Show-Party with other acts to compliment.

There - that should at least satisfy some people`s hunger to perform now, and especially so after recently being in/seeing our recent Shows, and last Saturday`s Party night! :)
