Hi all

I have recently got myself a credit card for my expenses to go on at work. Over the weekend i set it up on online banking and then bought something on Saturday night for $18 (dollars)..but it does not show up in my online banking? Im worried now that nothing is going to show up until the end of the month - which is no good to me at all!? Anyone else use their online banking for their credit cards? :confused:

Give it a few days to go on, might take upto 3 working days!

hsbc stuff normally shows up within a day for me. But i guess it depends on the retailer as well. Some places can take days to process the order.

I always find it usually always takes longer for items to show up bought over a weekend too.

over the weekend they take your money but the bacs system doesnt update till monday morning.

i sometimes look at a payment and think what the hell is that, only to realise its from 5 days earlier.

I find that with my credit card (Barclaycard), things appear as "Awaiting authorisation" (or similar wording :)) for a couple of days - which can be a little annoying as you just get a total for all these transactions, meaning you're not quite sure if everything has been processed or not.
