HI,

Anyone know where I can get a copy of a motorbike key/keys?

I know I can go to the dealer, but they're in Chesterfield, i've tried my local Cobbler, but he doesn't do them...

Any Ideas?

The key to my bike is a bit weird and I had to go further a field to get a new one cut but I can't for the life of me remember where. I'll have a think today and post it later on if I can remember.

Hope the directions are right. Don't want foo_fighter trying to beat me up again...

Manhattan motors (chesterfield road i think) , if you dont have a number on the bike key he draws round it and gets one for you. It cost me £10 for a suzuki key so i would imagine its around the same.

Use a photocopier to photograph' each key actual size, then carefully glue the photocopies to a sheet of metal (the side of the fridge will do).
Then with a hacksaw, cut round the shape of the 'key' & hey presto! a cheap reliable copy for 10p.

Thanks everyone...(esp. the photocopy idea, i'm going to give that one a go with £20 notes instead :D )

I went to the above mentioned Harrolds (can't stop thinking of Steptoe bathing in the sink for some reason)

£7.00 for a copy of my main key & the steering lock key...bargain! :thumbsup:

(ADC....that was sheer class tho :lol: )
