Showing my age as by the time I found out this was happening it was sold out.
If anyone has a spare ticket and is willing to sell please PM me, I will of course pay a premium to see my boyhood heroes!
Thanks for any help.

A couple of gigs i've been to at the leadmill which have been sold out have still had a couple of tix available on the door so it may be worth ringing them ( 2212828 ) and asking if any will be....although if they are you'll probably have to start queuing at lunch time to get one!

I've got a spare if anyone wants it. PM me if you do.

Anyone know if they will give me the money back if I return it at the door? I didn't buy it from there.

Probably not, although there'll be someone in the queue who'll buy it for at least face value.

So, what did people think? I enjoyed the gig, the band were really tight.

But the Leadmill really is a shocking venue.

Fantastic. Never thought I'd see them live. Lee looked fairly healthy and on the ball, which was nice to see. Were the encores new songs?

Don't know what you mean about the Leadmill being a shocking venue, What's wrong with it? It's a great place to see a band and I think most bands think so too. They must be doing summat right to keep going for 20 years.

It was an excellent night, and I agree the Leadmill is a top venue  There are not many places where you get such an atmosphere.

There were no new songs the setlist was:

Sun of a Gun
Freedom Song
Clean Prophet
Come In Come Out
Way Out
Doledrum
There She Goes
Timeless Melody
IOU
I Can't Sleep
Feelin
Liberty Ship
Callin All
Failure
Lookin Glass
Over

*Encore*

Knock Me Down
I Am The Key

Drummer made a few errors, but thats not surprising cos it was his first gig, they sacked the drummer from the rest of the tour the day before :o

The bars are too small, the toilets are very difficult to get to, and I just find it pretty punter unfriendly all round, really. Most comparable venues are much better, IMO.

Still, great night!

The La's were excellent. :D The Leadmill is OK - the stage/main room bit is fine, but it is a nightmare at the bar... many, many bar staff, but unfortunately hardly any serving going on. Still, the drinks aren't too dear, which makes a change.

(oh, and cheers again to StoneShort for the ticket info!)

Great to see the La's sounding and looking so healthy. Although being an oldy I have now seen almost that exact same set 6 times!!!
Not very talkative are they?!
What was the song that some of the crowd were 'singing' that made Jon Power join in?
Thanks again Stoneshort for the ticket.
