Hello.

I will come to sheffield next month to improve my English. I will spend a few months there, that’s why I would like to know if it would be hard to find a job for a foreigner. Obviously a work in which I could practice my English would be better!

You have to take into account that I’m 18years old, I just had “the French baccalauréat” which is the equivalent of the English A-levels, and I have been working in clothing shops for a few months here in Paris.

In which branch do you think I should look for?
Do you think volunteering could be a good solution If I do not find a full time job?

Thank you!

This site might help but as I am sure you are aware now is not a good time to be looking for a job in retailing.

Volunteering is always a great way to gain experience!!! Where are you staying in Sheffield - might be easier for people if they knew where you were to be based!! Good luck!!

Why not offer the French language in exchange for english.
