I have lost quite a lot of memry from my pc. Probably from d/loading crap.

Someone once mentioned something about clearing the restore points to get some memry back and it worked. Thing is, I forgot who said it and what it was I did. Can anyone help me sort this?

Also, I wondered if anyone knew about using G-spot.

Right click My Computer, System Restore tab, check the turn off system restore box, click apply, then uncheck the box and apply and then ok.

just burned the 'file' for the 3rd time, and still no sound.

I think I need a crash course in how to do these things :gag:

Sorry Vidster, I'm confusing things again

I'm guessing you what I mean by 'file', yes? Well I have it on my pc, Burned it, and it came out with no sound.
Somebody suggested K-Lite codec, so i d/loaded that, but don't know how it can help me put sound on to that 'file'.

FYI, sound plays back on my pc.

I dont know how we got from losing memory to 'files' and sounds :hihi: but the only time i've heard of this was on a PC. The solution there was to change the sound input channel in vlc media player.

Do you have any audio settings on your DVD player you can change? Or..... Do you have another DVD player you can try it in?

[EDIT] After doing some searching i'm pretty much sure it is a problem with your DVD player. Most pages i've viewed suggest changing the audio settings so that they force movies to play in stereo, rather than 5.1
