I was wandering if I could use Firefox and IE at the same time.

I like to have the Basketball results running live, the page auto refreshes every 3mins. But it seems to have a heavy load on Firefox when I have multiple tabs open for other things.

I was wandering if I could run IE with the Basketball scores, without it effecting Firefox, I dont want firefox to crash?

Thanks, I think I may have to buy some more memory I have about 628mb. Firefox is taking 108,000 without the basketball scores.

Or try installing ietab (http://ietab.mozdev.org/) in Firefox, so that you can have Internet Explorer in a Firefox tab.

You could try other browsers such as those shown here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_browser#Current_Web_browsers). (You might find one you prefer - Firefox being my favourite as it has lots of nice add-ons - though Camino, for Mac OS X only, is nice.) Just make sure you choose a secure one where you enter personal data - e.g. credentials for web mail and online banking.

Also make sure you're using FF3 because FF2 isn't supported any more and uses more memory.

I think I may get two monitors, one to work on and the other to have the basketball scores.
