I currently have Soundforge installed on my PC.

The last few times I have recorded a DJ mix onto it, when I have played it back I find a few stutters, here and there.

I know my PC spec is fully capable of handling the program as the problem hasn't always been there, it used to be perfect throughout.

Does anybody know what is happening??

Re-install/update your audio drivers. (Its possible that although previously working a Windows update has screwed something up)
Use the taskmanager and msconfig to see what is running in the back ground as could be conflicting.
Reinstall the Soundforge software
Try those as a start point and see how you get on.
Have you made any hardware changes plugged any usb devices in or changed the ports they are plugged in to?

stuttering is usually caused by slow writing to the hard drive, or excessive CPU usage, like if your PC is virus checking while you are recording.
