I'm researching my family history and have managed to track down my history to a gentleman named Elijah Stacey. He was born in Sheffield in 1826. He and his wife Sarah owned a Grocery Store in Catherine Road. Somehow he managed to become the Secretary of the Local Branch of the Licensed Victuallers Association. Is anyone able to direct me as to where I might be able to find information about this society. I understand it is now defunct.
