I need to replace the casing on one of my internal doors. Does anyone know the best and cheapest place in Sheffield or very close by, to obtain the bits of timber?

I think the stuff's called "architrave" and places like Laver's and, very likely, Wickes will sell it.

Couldn't give you an idea on price, I'm afraid, architrave is not something I deal with!

hi chello , £10-15 for door casing at lavers. Archatrives can cost anything from £5-20 depending style. Hope this helps jeff (joiner)
