Hi guys I'm new on the site! :clap:

I live on the outskirts of Rotherham and spend most nights out in Rotherham Centre.
Its my friends 21st coming up and out of the grop planning to go no one has been out in Sheffield before (it is rather sad isnt it).
Sooo... If any one could help me I'd like to know...
Whats Sheffield like on a Monday night? or is it worth sticking to a Friday or Saturday night? Where are the good places to eat (within walking distance of the nightlife!)? and Which, in your opinion, are the best pubs/bars/clubs to visit?

Any help would be much appreciated!!

I'd forget Mondays no university isover. It'll be pretty dead.

There are loads of Restaurants on West street (which is on one of the main runs). The is a pizza place, Lebanese Restaurant, 2 Mexican/Italian/Spanish, Potugese, Tapas, Subway, Indian, Chicken place and several take aways.

The "trendy" bars around there include The Forum and Halcyon on Division St (rd below), Vodka Revolution , Tequilla, Takapuna, Bar Hoi and Muse.

Also pubs such as Varsity and The Cavendish are on there and are always busy.

clubwise. If you want cheese then go to Kingdom. Trendy dance music Republic (or Gathecrasher as its called now), Rock (Corporation)

We always start our night at the top of West St in either the Swim Inn, or S1. Then work our way down going in Varsity, BRB, V Bar, Bedroom.. Then round to Crystal... Then Mingdom!

Now and again we go other places like the Firestation on Division Street, Bar Matrix and occasionally Empire bar.

If you're out on a Wednesday or Thursday, go to Leadmill. Cheap as chips!

Still have no idea what to do for my mates bday though. And tragedy... she's gone and gotten herself quite ill! So a speedy recovery is required otherwise i might have to postpone this little venture.

Would like to go to takapuna, my mate does a set there some weekends. Looks like if we head down there we'll be ok!

If your lookin for some where to go then,soulphisticated is a good choice, on friday nights. you can dine in the restaurant to,for dinning you will have to book a table, the food is fantastic and your spoil for choice.
